I came up with a nice, no preservatives recipe for a jerky brine.
1 cup Kikkoman soya sauce...1 cup (thick) teriaki sauce... 2 TBSP Minced
onions...2 TBSP Chili Peppers...1 TBSP (Minced) fresh Garlic and 4 TBSP
(Light) Brown Sugar. You may want to vary some of the ingredients to your
liking but it's the best one I've come up with so far, less all the
pharmacutical ingredients most companies add to make it last forever LOL
I usually soak my meat for 2 days turning well twice a day. The teriaki
takes a bit longer to penetrate.
Enjoy!

Is that the jerky you will be entering in the contest?
