I've gotten several responses so far, but I'm surprised that no one has gotten question #1 correct. If it helps, refer to the Danise Coon/Paul Bosland interview I did a few months back.;-)

Scott, technically does black pepper count on question #1? Peppercorns are not "peppers", right?

Nick, no, Black pepper (Piper nigrum) does NOT count as a "pepper". I;m looking for the world's most popular and grown capsicum plant. So far, out of a couple dozen entries only ONE person has gotten it correct!
