Once again, the 

Autumn is the one time of year the weather is nice in most parts of the country at the same time. In the warm southern and southwest regions, people who have been kept inside by the blazing summer temperatures start to enjoy the outdoors more. In the northern regions, the nights start to get crisp but the daytime temperatures are very pleasant. And pleasant weather means an ideal time for grilling and barbecue.
What are the food ten items in your kitchen you cannot do without? Most of us in the western world will have ingredients such as milk, eggs, butter/margarine, sugar and some type of flour on hand, but what else do you need (or makes it hard to get by without) for everyday cooking and meal creation?
We’re fast approaching my favorite time of the year – Autumn. Yeah, yeah, I know – you probably don’t want to hear for the umpteenth time of why Fall is so great. Nor do a lot of you care about the annual resurgence of pumpkin spiced food items.
Being the crazy tinkerer in the kitchen that I am, I’ve had lots of experience at testing out recipes, as well as starting from scratch when concocting various sauces and dishes. Unfortunately, more have failed than have been successful, but those failures have only pushed me harder at finding ways to make something work out.
