Alright, you want hot? You got it! These are some hot wings!

First, you will need two things:

  • 2-3 pounds of assorted chicken wings, both flats and drumettes.
  • Approximately 1 quart of cooking oil.

Regular Super-Hot Buffalo Sauce Version

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 8 whole fresh habanero chile peppers, finely minced (leave seeds in)

  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 6 whole fresh habanero chile peppers, finely minced (leave seeds in)

girl-eating-hot-wingCooking Instructions for Both Versions of the Super-Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce Recipe:

  1. Mince the chile peppers (either the “milder” habaneros for the Regular recipe or the “hotter” habaneros and ghost peppers for the Insane Screaming recipe). Place chile pepper bits in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Take all other ingredients and mix in a bowl with minced peppers.
  3. In the case of the Insane Super-Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce Recipe, grab a tablespoon measuring spoon that you will not use for any other purposes and measure out the amount needed.
  4. Heat vegetable oil (peanut oil tastes great with chicken wings) in your fryer to 350 degrees F.  Fry naked wings for around 10 to 12 minutes, or until light golden-brown in color. Remove wings from the fryer and drain briefly on a rack or paper towels.
  5. After draining wings, put fried wings in a sturdy plastic container with a lid. Add 1/4 to 1/3 of a cup of your sauce (Regular or Insane Screaming Wing Sauce Recipe) of choice to the wings inside of the container. Replace lid and shake well to coat wings.
  6. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing (or nothing at all!).
  7. Enjoy!

Notes:

  1. First and foremost, wear gloves! And do not rub your eyes, nose, or sensitive areas on your body during or after handling chile peppers and chile pepper powder. Take off gloves and wash your hands thoroughly.
