Hot Licks - Sriracha LollipopsLollyphile’s Sriracha Lollipop…If you are someone who douses just about any food item with fiery red Sriracha sauce, you may be interested in this confection: Sriracha lollipops.

Yep, such a thing exists! They’re made by a candy company that began in San Francisco called Lollyphile. The fiery hot pops will put any cinnamon candy to shame, and the product was clearly born out of a love for the spicier side of things. From the product page:

Oh, Sriracha. What would we do without you? You’re the firey Asian ketchupness that makes everything better. You’re the cock sauce of our hopes and dreams. You enspicen our pho and improve our noodles. You are perfect in every way, from your terrifying redness to your reassuring green bottle cap.

And you are now a lollipop, to be celebrated and embraced all on your own. You may hurt our mouths, but we cannot quit you.

If you feel a special affinity for Sriracha, it could very be in part to some hometown pride. The top USA maker of Sriracha is Huy Fong Foods, which began in Los Angeles in 1980, and they make the beloved “cock” sauce in Rosemead, in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley.

To get a hold of the Sriracha lollipops–if you’re brave enough to take the heat–you’ll have to order them from Lollyphile. They’ll run you $10 for four, $24 a dozen, and $58 for a case of 36.
