Why You Must Attend to CaJohns' Open House

CaJohns' Open House For those of you who haven't been in the loop, for the past few years CaJohn Hard has been having an open house the Monday after the Weekend of Fire ends. Since the CaJohns factory in the Columbus, Ohio area is located roughly only 100 miles from where the Weekend of Fire is held in the northern Cincinnati suburbs, many die-hard chileheads make the pilgrimage to hang out at CaJohns HQ for a big chunk of the day.

Why, may you ask, must YOU attend? Easy:

* You get to tour the nice, new facilities where one of America's best sauce and salsa companies create their fine products
* There's an awesome and FREE barbecue lunch generously prepared by the CaJohns crew
* You can hang out with the man himself, his wife Sue Hard and the rest of the hard workin' CaJohns team and discuss hot sauces to your heart's content
* You also get to congregate with several bloggers and online chileheads (myself included)
* It's always a fun time
* You can sign your name on the CaJohns Wall of Fame!
* Everyone is invited!

If you live in Ohio or plan to go to the Weekend of Fire, you owe it to yourself to attend the CaJohns' Open House. Simply show up around late morning (approximately 10:00 - 11:00 am Eastern Time) on Monday, August 2nd at the following address (click on it to see the Google Map):

We are planning on attending for sure. Hitting the show on Sunday, camp over night and go to this on the way back home.

I would like to thank everyone who showed up at either the Weekend of Fire or our Open House! For those who missed the Open House, feel free to drop in anytime and visit. I apologize for not being able to personally spend time with all of our guests, but we’ll blame Buddah for that. He gets blamed for everything anyway. Hope all had a good time, and pass the word that our doors are always open for chileheads!
