Which Fiery Foods Events Will You Attend in 2013?

I'm not one to make and follow New Years resolutions, but I almost always try to make the pilgrimage to as many fiery foods events as possible. My Hot Sauce/Chilehead Events and Festivals Calendar has been updated for 2013, so I encourage you all to take a look and plan a trip or two to witness one of these yourself. In addition to geographic proximity, there are also other things that you may want to take into consideration when planning a mini-vacation to a hot sauce or chile pepper show. Each one has its own "flavor" to it, in addition to other things like contests, cooking demos, food for sale, live music, plus other nearby extracurricular activities outside of the event itself. So do some research on the events' websites, as well as study what's nearby in the geographic area of both the actual events and surrounding hotels.

There are several events not posted in the database yet because the dates or venues are still tentative. However, if you know of a major show or fiery foods festival with a confirmed date and location, don't hesitate to contact me so that I can post it up!

Click on these links, and you'll come to the familiar event pages on Facebook where you can choose to select if you're Going/Maybe/Not Going, as well as be able to converse with other Facebookers who are attending.

And while I'm on the subject of Facebook event pages, I encourage all show owners, producers, facilitators, promoters and marketing managers to create a Facebook page event page and supply me the link to post in my event database so that others can RSVP. With most of your potential attendee base already on Facebook, it's a great way promote and connect with those you wish to come to your event.
