Scott, try using the B3 as a marinade/grilling sauce for grilled pork tenderloin, see if it works that way.

Great reviews Scott! The B3 works really well on white meats. It is VERY good on grilled chicken and maintains it's heat after cooking!

I have had the pleasure of tasting all three of these products and would rate them higher. The Grounds for Divorce is great on chicken wings. My next try will be on mashed potatoes. The Strawberry Scorpion I have used on many things from chicken to ice cream. I(Ice cream and angel food cake.) My taste buds are different ... I think it is a beautiful strawberry taste with heat, I didn't taste tartness. The B3 we have used on pork, chicken, fish and find it very versatile in our household. I believe anyone who wants to have flavor with their heat without the vinegar taste would like these products. If your looking to introduce your non chili eating friends to hot sauces I don't think you can go wrong with these, good introduction into heat.

Good review. I will have to say I am a bit surprised at the ratings however. I am a HUGE fan of HBD sauces, and nothing againt Johnny and Nicole, they make fantastic and highly recommend sauces but I have seen much higher reviews for them than what these 3 got and I'm confused on that. One thing both companies share is the ability to provide good heat but excellent taste. I like the fact the vinegar is hardly noticed, most sauces it is and I don't like it personally. I think RedHawk has done a tremendous job with flavor and heat balance on all 3. The grounds for divorce is my favorite but the other 2 are well worth buying. Actually, the GFD is my favorite all around sauce now, overtaking that position from HBD 1492. I am also confused how you can not like sriracha and like hot sauces. That confuses me with all due respect. But, I guess everyone has different tastes and taste receptors. Any way, great review as always.

Fat finger correction on above HBD sauce. 1542 not 1492..

Thanks

I'm not a big fan of Siracha either.

BLASPHEMER!!! I guess everyone has different tastes but I for one absolutely love a good garlic sauce.

Just for some clarification; the ingredients on Strawberry Scorpion read "Hot Peppers (Trinidad Scorpions & Habanero type peppers). I grow over 10 varieties of habaneros and didn't think I needed to specify the particular variety. The sauce's primary pepper is Trinidad Scorpions (and of those, mostly 'Butch T').

I'll have to try to the grilled chicken recommendation.

Chiligrower, to me Sriracha has to much of a harsh taste, which is almost like a bitter horseradish flavor to me (too much salt? too much garlic?). I do like most other Asian sauces.

RedtailForester, you don't necessarily have to specify the particular variety of habaneros used. As a matter of fact, in the ingredients list of most habanero sauces I've seen, it's listed simply as "habaneros" or "habanero chiles", and can cover orange, red, etc.

I have a hard time understanding the ratings being that low for the GFD sauce. I personally use it on almost everything. Its honestly one of the best sauces I've tasted. But everyone has a right to their own opinion. RED HAWK sauces are fantastic in my opinion !

FYI - B3 took third place at 2012 Zest Fest. Not bad for an 'experimental' sauce huh!? LMAO!!!
