September 2012 Poll Question: What's Your Single Favorite BBQ Meat?

Here's a tough one for a lot of us to decide. If you could only choose one single favorite barbecue meat, what would it be? To clarify for some, I'm asking what is your top meat that is slow-smoked over low heat, NOT grilled over high heat.

Ribs used to be a favorite,Brisket is so difficult to cook an appreciation resulted. When brisket it is done right it is is Meat Candy. Burnt Ends cannot be beat. Tender slices of beefy brisket love is what barbeque is all about.

Got to go with pork there is just soo much you can do with it . Chicken bbq gets on the grill at least a few times a week though.

That's a tough question...part of me wants to say whole hog since you are covering a lot of territory, but as I have never attempted one I have to go with pork shoulder. Gotta stay honest!

Gotta love the BBQ pork ribs, although I try to cook as much chicken as possible for simple health reasons.
