Sonic Drive-In Review Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I present to you my son Kevin. He is a budding chilehead, and after watching his dad get to try out spicy foods and write about them, he expressed to me that he wanted to follow suit. So we've decided to have a recurring series that he himself has dubbed "Kevin's Side of the Dish". With today's installment, Kevin is cutting is review teeth (yes, pun intended) on a recent Sonic Drive-In visit.

All of these blog posts in the "Kevin's Side of the Dish" series, including the following one, will be 100% written by him. The only help I'll provide will be any necessary fixes in capitalization and punctuation. Of course, his old man here will help resize the photos (which Kevin will take himself) in Photoshop and code any necessary HTML code for the blog. Enjoy!

Sonic Drive-In Review

Today, I went to Sonic and had a Popcorn Chicken with Apple Slices and Caramel Dip. The Caramel Dip sounded promising. The Jumbo Popcorn Chicken tasted powdery, crunchy, and was horrible. It was bad, really bad. Do you remember when I said the Caramel Dip sounded promising? Well, it didn't turn out how I thought it would. It tasted, I really can't describe what it tasted like. But I can describe what the apples tasted like. It tasted like a juicy, smooth, apple piece. I would definitely not go there again and get the chicken.

Hi Kevin, great job! I will be looking forward to reading your future reviews. I now know to stay away from Sonic's popcorn chicken, thanks for saving me some time and money! I am curious to know if you have tried the Chik-Fil- A Spicy Chicken Sandwich yet.....as for caramel sauce, your dad and I are both fans of the Cowgirl Spicy Caramel Sauce, have you tried that yet? Great blog, Kevin! I'm not a fan of Sonic's chicken either! I stick with breakfast food or SuperSonic Burgers!

Kevin, it's important to be honest and you nailed it. We have a sonic near our house. A month ago, I thought why not, it can't be horrible. It was horrible. All of it. Keep writing.

Thanks for the review Kevin! Safe to say I will be staying far away from Sonic popcorn chicken and caramel sauce. I'll stick with a cherry limeade slushie!

Good review. Just remember to keep it objective and don't get carried away with attacking something you didn't like. Sometimes reviewers get on a roll and try to be funny and sarcastic. You did a good job of keeping it focused on your opinion of the food. What's next?

What MEG said, great job Kevin, indeed! I used to drive out of my way to have their Sonic Cheese Burger with BBQ Sauce and Jalapeno slices, I think you can still get it if you ask but I havn't figured out why they were taken off the menu.
Keep it up, want to hear more!
