Currently McDonald's wheels out the sandwich on a temporary basis once per year. Many think that it's a guilty treat. It's gross. Not worth the hype. If you're a young child, then it might be good.

I am delighted to say that I have never tried a McRib. No way I ever would now. Why risk becoming a patsy for an unreliably available product?

My friend Joe that goes with me to many a BBQ Ribfest and loves authentic BBQ, but you know both of us also like the McRib.... compared to real BBQ Ribs, well they can not be compared but as a sandwich goes they are tasty for what they are. And if we keep that in mind and not get bent out of shape over it they it is just fine.

I was given one my mistake at the drive-through and was a couple of miles down the road before I dug in the bag and realized my order was wrong. One bite and it went back in the bag and directly to the trash can. Big yuck.

Ever wonder what the rhyme and reason is to limited time releases? Simple, the McRib comes back every time pork prices drop.

Pretty gross, if you ask me. I'd rather eat a McSpam. At least it won't have sat under heat lamps...

All I can say is holy cr@p! Why would anyone subject them self to the McRib or McDees. I think it was back in the 80's when I first tried one of these. Too young to know better at the time. Bought 2 of these. On the first bite I hit gristle and tried to tug it out with my teeth. It ended up being some rounded strand that snapped free after pulling to the other end of the sandwich and then hit me in the eye. I was so angry and disgusted that I put both sandwich in the trash and left. Fortunately my eye recovered and I lived to make other dietary mistakes. You are better off with road kill, at least that type of meat can be identified.

I have no issues with Micky D's, but can honestly say that I haven't had their McRib. ALL things in moderation, I say, including 'moderation' ;-) One of the GREAT benefits from doing the 'stair climb thing' was that I could eat whatever I wanted :-) Exercise & be happy :-P
