Domino's Pizza in Taiwan Introduces New Pizza Made with Hottest Chile Pepper
Targeted at adventurous consumers in Taiwan, Domino's Pizza introduces a new flavor made with the spiciest chile pepper in the world. You can now order a large one for NT$299.
The Bhut Jolokia, or ghost chile, is from Assam in India. It rates one million in the Scoville scale, a measure of the hotness defined by the amount of capsaicin present. If they snap a photo of their "pouty and full lips" after eating the pizza, they can then upload it on the Domino's Taiwan website to compete with other participants to win a chance to enjoy free Domino's Pizza every day for a year, or 365 take-out coupons.
Speed eaters can enter a competition to be held on June 6th at 2:00 pm in the Eslite Bookstore's branch in Shimen, Taiwan to challenge their tolerance of consuming these super-spicy pizzas. The first prize winner can get two pizza coupons for free, and all the participants can will get a t-shirt.
