Here's an update from Blair Lazar:

"I know that it's been a long time... too long for me to be out of touch with you. Of course, I am sorry (more than you can imagine!!) for the delay in reserves, but I have had ideas in my head and I just won't give up until I have created the perfect reserves for you to cherish as I do!! Lately, I have been way too busy to do what I love, and frankly, that is to talk to people like you and create fun new sauces, reserves, chips, etc. I am so proud to say that we have experienced incredible growth over the last few years and that demand has never been greater (it feels like people around the world all want Death Sauce at the same time!!). We are reaching new corners of the globe every day. With that said, we have been so busy (delete with) making sure we have enough sauce to go around that we have been cutting down distribution orders to make sure we have enough sauce to fill our own orders. I know that it's not a bad problem to have (I feel lucky as can be!!), but I want to make sure I always have time for what's important!
"I am soooo sauce obsessed that I will not cut corners or change anything, despite many around me telling me that it is time to do things differently - like, let's just crank it out however we can because we are losing sales. I say, F-U, that's not how I did it when I started 20 years ago, broke, and it's not how I'm going to do it now!! I will only put out the best possible sauces and snacks on the planet, made the same incredible way that I always have!!! If you're reading this newsletter for the first time, and you don't know what I'm all about, it's pretty simple...hot sauce, spice, and passion. That's what I do, that's who I am, that's what I love. This is no game, this is no BS, this is real...I do it because I love what I do...I love the rush of watching someone light up like a candle and come running back for more. I love being able to add such crazy excitement and passion to your life!!
"So, here's the deal: I HAVE SUCH GREAT NEWS TO SHARE WITH YOU!!! I just finished setting up our brand new, state-of-the-art, hot sauce factory, not far from our home base in Highlands, NJ ( we've been working on this for the last 11 months).
